Directions to Casa Guilla from Tremp & Pobla de Segur
1/ Approaching from the south via Tremp:
Leave Tremp travelling north along the C13 (was C147) in the direction of Pobla de Segur. Just outside Tremp is 'Petronor' petrol station on the right. Continue past. Turn left at sign to 'Santa Engracia 10 kms' approx 1.5 kms from the petrol station.
2/ Approaching from the north via Pobla de Segur:
Leave Pobla de Segur travelling south along the C13 (was C147) in the direction of Tremp, after 10 kms turn right at the signpost to 'Santa Engracia 10 kms'.

This road is laid with asphalt (actually 'tar and chip') and is 10 kms from this turn off to the village of Santa Engracia. Just follow the road to the village. The road ascends passing the vinyards of Castell d'Encus, descends, meanders and ascends again, but eventually arrives at Santa Engracia.

When you arrive at the village, ahead you should now see a stone building which has double doors, a rose bush and a bench seat to the left of the doors and to the right of you a sign 'Santa Engracia'. Turn to the left of this building up a slight incline. The paved path now directly ahead is the path to the village and it is only for pedestrians. You should now be able to see a sign 'Casa Guilla' with an arrow to the right. Take the turn to the right which then bears to the left and continues under the village (ignore private sign) and ends below Casa Guilla, where there is private parking for guests. This track to Casa Guilla is laid with gravel and is quite rough. There is a sharp turn at the end. It may be better to park the car and walk up initially so that you know what to expect as it is only a few hundred metres.

NB
There is also an unmetalled road from Salas de Pallars which is a pleasant route but as most people tend to prefer to use asphalt roads we have given directions for the above route only.
